Wage & Hour Update: Radical Changes on the Horizon

The United States Department of Labor has proposed new wage and hour regulations which will impact: (1) who qualifies as exempt employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act; and (2) how employers should calculate overtime. In addition, the New York State Department of Labor Minimum Wage Orders are set to have changes go into effect for employers late in 2019.
This seminar will review the proposed federal regulations, the state regulations which are currently in place, as well as provide other wage and hour updates.
